Well, it's day one of the launch of this idea of mine. Wish me luck!
I had no idea that after 10 years of post secondary education I would want to stay at home with my dog, Dixie, who is the light of my life, and spend my time walking other dogs and keeping Dog appointments for people who are forced to leave their loves at home all day.
I had been working at home at the time that Dixie came home to us, March 15 of this year. I have recently heard that the company I work for has sold and I will no longer be at home with Dixie after Sept...if I didn't work fast to start living this dream I'd been slow-cooking in my brain, I'd be forced out the door away from my love. And here we are.
I will take your dog-love out of the house 1-2x per day, depending on your needs, at 10am and/or 2pm for some exercise and good loving care. I will pick them up for our day trips, return them home, feed and water them, leaving them pooped out, satisfied and loved.
I also offer short day time jaunts through the alleys of North Burnaby. I can pick up and take your Dog for a 1/2 hour scheduled walk in his or her own neighbourhood or through the alleys close to my house, your choice and depending on calendar availibility.
Our 10am 2 hour walk is a day trip to beautiful Rocky Point Park's 6km walk along the beautiful Port Moody Inlet. See attached map of the area:
Our 2pm 2 hour walk is a day trip to scenic Burnaby Lake Park's 10km scenic forest like trails. See attached map of the area:
If your Dog has an appointment you can't bring them to, I also provide escorte services to such appointments, just pre-arrange the time and I'll pick them up, bring them there and drop them back off at home. If you are facing a dog emergency and need to book an unscheduled appointment, shoot me an email and I'll do my best to support your needs!
Fees
- 2 hour scenic day camp walk-10am or 2pm - $20
- 1/2 hour alley walk - $10
- Appointment Escorte Services-$10 per 1/2 hour
